I was invited to test drive the new Lexus hybrid vehicle, (launching in August locally) the Lexus CT 200h F Sport. The experience was filmed and as someone who hates being in front of the camera, I think I did okay because I had to concentrate on the road first. But the final edit will be real proof.

On Wednesday this week, General Motors invited me to attend an advanced driving skills course with them at the Aldo Scribante race track in Port Elizabeth.
They sponsored 3x Lumina SS V8′s to the Port Elizabeth Flying Squad (in addition to another 3 vehicles in 2009), along with an advanced driving skills course, so they know how to operate these high performance vehicles. Read more…
Volvo invited me to the V60 sport wagon launch held in Cape Town yesterday. Now I know what you’re thinking. Wagon’s aren’t exactly known for their looks, but Volvo actually put effort into making the wagon look good.
On Wednesday I was flown to George by Volvo South Africa for the launch of the “all new” Volvo S60.
When we arrived, we were taken to a warehouse just around the corner from the George Airport, where we got a glimpse of the “naughty” Volvo S60.
After a quick introduction and briefing, we paired up and got into the car, ready for our adventure. Our first task was to drive from George to Outdshoorn. We were told to get “naughty” in the Volvo S60 – and that’s exactly what I did. Read more…
