tablets-smallLooking for a small tablet? I’ve created a list of 7- and 8-inch tablets available locally.

About a year ago, I couldn’t understand how a tablet around this size would fit into my lifestyle, but after (sort of) winning a 7.9-inch device, I changed my mind.

I love that it’s light, fits into most of my bags, easier to hold (no weight shifting), and just well, convenient. Comparatively, my ~10″ devices sometimes get neglected because of its size and weight. It’s suddenly less convenient to toss into a bag or travel with (only because I now have a lighter option, it makes it better).

Another factor to consider, if you own a 5″ smartphone, buying a 7″ tablet seems a bit pointless, so a 9″ or 10″ would make more sense. If you are in the market for a small tablet, which I’m defining by between 7 and 8 inches, take a look at my list. In no order, they are:

Made by Asus, it has a 7.02″ HD display (1920×1200), is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and weighs 340g. It offers WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and optional LTE connectivity; 1.2MP from facing camera, 5MP rear camera; stereo speakers; and a microUSB port.
