Wired to the Web is a technology blog by Nafisa Akabor that covers mobile, gadgets, apps, how-tos, travel, and cars with occasional videos.
Nafisa has been writing about consumer and business technology since 2007 after her runner-up award as a Citizen Journalist at the Telkom ICT Awards 2006. Nafisa has also done corporate blogging for ShowMax, Nokia, Microsoft, Samsung, Internet Solutions, BCX, iFix, Nashua, Vodacom, Mercedes-Benz and Telkom.
She currently contributes tech for Forbes Africa, City Press, TechCentral, Sawubona, M&G, Financial Mail and Cars.co.za in a freelance capacity; and dabbles in ghost writing, corporate blogging. Nafisa appears on the Cars & Gadgets tech review podcast on TechCentral with editor Duncan McLeod.
Nafisa currently serves as a judge for the Cars.co.za Consumer Awards, and previously judged the SA leg of the global TADHACK hackathon; MTN Business App of the Year; and the GirlCode Hackathon.
