Apple has confirmed that the iPhone 5 will go on sale in South Africa on Friday, 14 December 2012.
The iPhone 5 has been completely redesigned and is the thinnest and lightest iPhone to date. At 7.6mm, it’s 18% thinner than the 4S and at 112g, 20% lighter.
It has a 4-inch retina display; is powered by Apple’s A6 chip; offers ultrafast wireless connectivity; as well as an improved battery life.
It will come in either black & slate or white & silver in either 16GB; 32GB or 64GB capacities. South African pricing has yet to be confirmed. I will update this post as soon as I have more information.
