1. Madinah - the peace I feel there is unmatched. No matter where I go, my heart remains here.
2. Seydisfjordur in Iceland - stunning scenery and the most quaint little town with matchbox houses and buildings. Took us less than 30 minutes to walk through the town, including a library, school, cinema, playground and indoor pool. Was just too cute.
Sarajevo was a beautiful city, filled with history and contrast. Shades of Istanbul and a waking modernity but a strong heartbeat of spirituality in the area
Zanzibar. Spectacular weather and incredible beaches.
I stayed at a resort that was so close to the waters edge, that you could order a grilled cheese sandwich and ice cold colas, all without ever leaving the deliciously warm ocean.

I enjoyed the sheer immenseness of Tokyo. Incredibly busy with buildings and people as far as you can see, and yet at the same time an immense respect for personal space.
Dublin - was not expecting much other than gloomy weather but was pleasantly surprised. A beautiful city with lots to see and friendly hospitable people, was a really awesome experience
Egypt- everything about it is so unique and its mummies still so intact is something amazing. The pyramids and tombs and something else and still finding new discoveries
Valletta, Malta. Malta is a fascinating island and this hilltop city was a dream to take a ferry over to and just look at all the surrounding ancient architecture and sparkling lights across the water
Not exactly a city, The Princes’ Islands in Istanbul. Apart from the natural beauty, it felt a little like going back in time. There are no cars or motorbikes allowed on the island. You can explore viewpoints and quaint cafes on foot or hire a bicycle. It was such a treat! 🤩
I really like Edinburgh. It's compact, backgrounded by an ancient castle which sits atop a hill overlooking the city centre. It has literary clout, loads of history, and tongue twisters like "Firth of Forth." I hope I can return to see another iteration of the Fringe arts festival-the atmosphere was amazing.
A little town called shantou in China. It was actually in the middle of no where.....I met the most amazing kind hearted souls who had never seen any other people but their own..We felt like celebrities-with everyone asking to take pics with us.

I would say Granada Spain. Just has a different vibe and has Islamic history we can learn from.
