I recently reviewed the Nokia Lumia 900 for My Digital Life. It’s rather unfortunate that Windows Phone 8 won’t run on any Lumia device, or current WP devices on the market.

While it is a blow for the Nokia Lumia range of smartphones, I don’t think all is lost.

The Lumia 900 will run Windows Phone 7.8; there’s a choice of more than 100,000 apps (plus unique Nokia apps); and to me, most importantly, it’s a smartphone that’s ready to use straight out of the box.

For the die hard Batman fans, the limited edition Batman handset is available locally, but the handset is locked to the MTN network.
