This blog is an extension of Nafisa’s love for technology (started in her teenage years) where she posts stuff when she’s not writing professionally, thus not open to advertising (how unsightly do ads look?) and does not publish sponsored posts (her opinion is not for sale).
Nafisa has been in the online publishing space since 2005. She quit the travel industry to write about technology in 2007 and hasn’t looked back. Her portfolio includes Travelinfo, Travel News Weekly, ITWeb, Brainstorm, My Digital Life, Marie Claire, True Love, Pie Magazine, Sense Magazine (Caxton), Vodacom Now, Samsung quarterly, The Foschini Group’s Tech magazine, Destiny Magazine, Business Connexion, Nokia, Microsoft, Nashua and TechCentral. She has also done freelance social media work for Ogilvy, Gullan & Gullan, Media24, Firehouse Gifts and Lorenzi Handbags.
Nafisa is published regularly on Vodacom Now, Destiny Magazine, Sawubona (SAA’s in-flight magazine), the Lumia Blog, and the Nashua blog, amongst other B2B behind-the-scenes work. She makes occasional appearances on SAfm chatting about technology.
